Motorsport For MS

Since 2016 we have been supporting our friend Noel Wilson with his (Noel’s words) “bloody stupid idea” to drive his mobility scooter around racing venues all over the UK and to set official lap times. This is all in aid of the life-changing and disabling disease, Multiple Sclerosis of which Noel was diagnosed with in 2013. Noel and his wife Karen set up the charity Motor Sport for MS and have worked tirelessly organising many events to promote the charity and to raise an initial target of £20k. 

Noel and Karen are still raising money and now have an army of volunteers & supporters dubbed the ‘Orange Army’.

Motor Sport for MS has been named as the MS Society's 2018 'Fund Raiser of the Year’ and they have not stopped there! Motor Sport for MS continues to draw in the crowds at more events planned to include a ‘Le mans’ style event around a local lake for 24 hours with a team of 4 drivers, all MS sufferers, and will be taking an 8 MPH mobility scooter around a 2.5-mile course, skirting two lakes at Willen, Milton Keynes.

We have a small part in their journey and that is to donate a trailer to carry Noel’s scooter and equipment. It also gives an excellent mobile advert showcasing the businesses and organisations that have helped to keep Motor Sport for MS on the road to success.
